The Company was established in 1970, for the purpose of undertaking contracts of all types of civil, electrical and mechanical engineering projects. For some time the company was not brought into the business because the founding Directors of the company were pre-occupied with the business of M/s. Omar Sons Limited, one of the oldest and most reputable construction companies of Pakistan.

In 1975, the founding directors disassociated themselves from Omar Sons Limited & concentrated their attention to the management of Omar Associates (Private) Limited (OAL), which now operates in Pakistan and abroad.

OAL is fully capable of providing a wide range of professional services. OAL’s staff of senior engineers & key personnel includes a number of specialists with high technical qualification and considerable practical experience in the planning, design & execution of all types of construction projects. OAL owns all necessary Construction Plant and Equipment to carry out the services. Design and Construction of Mobil Lube Oil Blending Plant at Hub for Mobil Oil Products Limited.

Construction of all Infrastructural facilities at Hub Power Plant for the main contractors namely Ansaldo Energia of Italy, Daelim Industrial Company of Korea, IHI of Japan, Campenon Bernard of France.

Design & Construction of water supply pumping stations at L.S.R. and Temple Curry for Karachi Water & Sewerage Board.

Construction of 132 KV Transmission Line for Siemens Pakistan Limited to connect Pakland Cement Factory with Karachi Electric Supply Corporation Grid Station at Dhabeji.

Construction of Service Jetty and Pumphouse including water based Piling, precast concrete works, insitu concrete, electrical works for power supply and the installation of the pumphouse for the fire system for the entire Port.

Construction of Aircraft Hanger Prestressed Concrete Roof, Aircraft Taxiways & Aprons, auxiliary buildings such as airconditioning plantrooms, Substations, Laboratories, Offices & Workshops, electrical works & mechanical works for Pakistan Navy.

Construction of School Complex and residential villas in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, on Turn Key Basis.
