The Company was established in 1970, for purpose of undertaking contracts of all types of Civil, Electrical and Mechanical engineering projects.

For some time the company was not brought into the business because of founding Directors of the company were pre-occupied with the business of M/s. Omar Sons Limited, one of the oldest and most reputable construction companies of Pakistan.

In 1975, the founding directors disassociated themselves from Omar Sons Limited and concentrated their attention to the management of Omar Associates (Private) Limited, which now operates in Pakistan and abroad.

Omar Associates (Private) Limited has been associated with the field of Minerals since the last decade. Employing some of the best geologists and scientists of Pakistan, Omar Minerals is credited with some astonishing discoveries one of them being “Talc”.

Omar Minerals established a Mineral micronizing plant in 2002 in collaboration with a Swiss Consulting company “Arbeva Engineering” and is the first Mineral micronizing company of its kind. It has state of the art equipments including Ball Mills, Roller Mills & Jet Mills. Omar Associates (Private) Limited is fully capable of providing a wide range of professional services in this relevant field.

In this short span of time Omar Minerals is manufacturing more than 300 tons per month of chemicals for Leather, Paint, Textile and Pharmaceutical industries out of which 90% is being exported to various part of the world including Turkey, Saudi Arabia, U.A.E., Greece, Korea & Hamburg.

Omar Minerals at the moment is enjoying a good reputation in the local as well as international market.
